Welcome to the hyperbaric oxygen facility! We would like to let you know about the scheduling of your hyperbaric oxygen treatments.
Our regularly scheduled times for hyperbaric treatments are at 7:30 am, 9:30 am and 1:00 pm. We will do our best to schedule the treatments to accommodate your schedule. At times, the schedule may limit our flexibility and reduce the options for your treatment time.
We allow approximately 2 hours for each treatment. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the treatment, to allow for preparation.
Most treatment protocols require daily treatment and will be done Monday through Friday. In emergent cases, some patients will require treatments twice daily and during the weekend or holiday. The hyperbaric staff will inform you of the protocol and treatment frequency for which you are being treated.
In the event of an unforeseen illness, inclement weather etc… and you are not able to keep your scheduled appointment, please contact the hyperbaric facility at 816-943-4600. This will allow the hyperbaric staff to make the necessary adjustments to our schedule.
In most cases the benefits of hyperbaric oxygen therapy are the result of daily treatment. It is necessary to follow the daily guidelines and treatment regimen your physician has prescribed. In the event that a patient repeatedly misses treatments the physician may recommend discontinuation of therapy.
Periodically the hyperbaric facility will receive emergent or emergency cases. In this event, we may need to reschedule your appointment. The hyperbaric staff will work diligently to reduce any inconvenience that this may cause.
